Since introducing the AF-500 in November of 2012 (in response to customers that were using CM-30E switches as annunciators in restroom applications), we continue to see product sales increase, as more and more installers learn about this affordable, unique and easily customized illuminated sign. Effective immediately, Camden has added enhancements to the product that will significantly improve both the performance and ease of installation.

The electronic circuitry (PCB) has been updated with an on-board power regulator.  This change has a number of advantages:

1.    An increase in the range of power input voltages; 10 to 36 volts DC.
2.    Units can now be powered by the output of (low energy) powered door operators (DC)
3.    Simple two wire leads (in place of 12V, 24V and common)

In addition, Camden is now packaging  more insert message labels with the CM-AF500. Labels now include 'Arm' (Red) and 'Unlocked' (green), as well as 'Locked When Lit' (green), 'Occupied When Lit' (green) and 'Occupied/Occupe' (red & green). This makes the CM-AF-500 ideal for a wide range of access control and facility management applications.
